Foreign-lobby money compromises America First. The U.S. has no formal mutual-defense treaty with Israel; AIPAC operates a super-PAC (United Democracy Project) that spent over $100M during the 2024 cycle on independent expenditures against U.S. candidates who criticize Israeli government policy. A candidate who has accepted that money has, in their own revealed preference, accepted a foreign-policy filter on their congressional vote. The same logic covers China-linked donations, where federal law also prohibits CCP members from contributing.

For every candidate with a documented donor record, two things happen: (1) the specific category question is marked False (foreign_policy_restraint[q4] for AIPAC + China; economic_stewardship[q5] — the WEF/ESG/Davos capture question — for Soros-network donors), so the per-category subscore drops by 2 points; (2) an additional dollar-bracket adjustment is applied to the total, making the penalty proportional to the magnitude of the funding. Both impacts are visible on this page.

Won the 4/1/2025 FL-01 special election (Gaetz seat) 57-42; former Florida CFO 2017-2025; running for reelection 2026 (primary 8/18/2026). Heritage Action 89-90% (119th). Roll calls all party-line conservative: YEA SAVE Act (Roll 102), YEA One Big Beautiful Bill both passages (Rolls 145/190 — included PP Medicaid defund + $175B border/wall), YEA Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act (Roll 201), NAY Iran War Powers Resolution (Roll 199, 6/3/2026 — backed the executive, scored contrary on the war-powers cell). As CFO: divested $2B in state funds from BlackRock over ESG (Dec 2022); fought the OSHA COVID vaccine mandate; vocal CBDC opponent. NRA A+ ('only one in the race with an A+'). Stated pro-life position includes rape/incest/life exceptions (aggregator-sourced), so the personhood cell is left null. Sponsored H.R. 9009 Firearm Freedom Act (5/2026) and H.R. 7393 (529s for homebuying). No cross-party deviations found on any roll call checked; Heritage's ~10% gap implies minor dissents not yet identified. [2026-07-15 STATUS HYGIENE · CID SRC-RC-0715-001 Batch 4] Sitting member via 2025-04-01 FL-1 special after Matt Gaetz resignation (late 2024). Office string standardized; predecessor record: matt-gaetz (former/resigned). Scores unchanged.

  1. Voted YES on H.R.1 (One Big Beautiful Bill, July 2025), the first federal law to defund Planned Parenthood of Medicaid dollars — an outcome Patronis publicly praised as 'a Big, Beautiful Victory for America,' releasing a press statement hailing the bill's passage. H.R.1's Medicaid provider-exclusion provision cut approximately $880 million in annual Planned Parenthood Medicaid reimbursements for one year, the largest federal pro-life legislative win since the Hyde Amendment, directly aligning with the rubric's personhood-and-life standard.
