My Story

I'm Adam Johns โ€” most people call me Moop. After 20 years of military service in the United States Marine Corps, I walked out of uniform with a conviction: discipline is a gift, not a punishment. The Corps taught me what the human body is capable of under pressure, under load, under fire. That never left me.

I became a NASM-certified trainer because I wanted to bring that same standard to everyday people โ€” not elite athletes, not gym rats โ€” regular people who want to feel strong, live long, and show up fully for their families. I specialize in body composition, visceral fat reduction, and the behavioral side of sustainable change.

At fit20 Cosner's Corner, I've seen what 20 minutes of properly programmed slow-rep resistance training does to people who thought they'd never have time to train. It changes their posture. Their confidence. Their relationship with their own body. That's the work I was made for.
