Daily ashwagandha blunts libido and dopamine drive over time. It's a powerful adaptogen — which means it can down-regulate the systems it's supposed to support if you don't cycle it. I use ashwagandha situationally (PM on high-stress days, 3-5x/week max), but I took it off my daily stack.

Anecdotal + physiologically plausible mechanism: prolonged cortisol suppression may reduce HPA axis responsiveness. The dopamine-blunting reports are consistent enough across user experience to take seriously. Use situationally.
