Fredericksburg City Council Meeting Notes

City of Fredericksburg, Virginia
Watch Meetings

We are building a tool to automatically transcribe and analyze city council meetings from Fredericksburg and other cities. This page will track:

  • Key votes — how each council member voted on every motion
  • Policy tags — budget, zoning, guns, equity, environment, education
  • Public comment highlights — what citizens are saying to their government
  • Scorecard impact — which votes affect RESOLUTE Citizen scores

How It Will Work

City council meetings in Fredericksburg are recorded and streamed via Regional WebTV. We will:

  1. Watch and transcribe each meeting
  2. Extract every recorded vote with how each member voted
  3. Tag policies by category (budget, zoning, public safety, DEI, environment)
  4. Analyze statements and votes through the RESOLUTE Citizen framework
  5. Update official scores on the scorecard with evidence links
