Nevada Question 6 would establish a fundamental right to abortion in the state constitution, prohibiting government interference with abortion performed by a qualified healthcare professional until fetal viability, or when necessary to protect the life or health of the pregnant individual.
Because Nevada requires constitutional amendments to pass in two consecutive even-year elections, this measure returns to the ballot after passing 64% to 36% in 2024. If it passes again, the amendment becomes permanent constitutional law.
Pro-life advocates have one more chance to defeat this measure before it is permanently enshrined.
This is the last opportunity to prevent abortion rights from being permanently enshrined in Nevada's constitution. Christians who value the sanctity of unborn life should be aware this requires a 'No' vote.
