Indiana: Universal School Choice (No Income Cap)

State of Indiana

Indiana eliminated the income cap for its Choice Scholarship voucher program, making it universally available to all students beginning in 2026. Indiana's voucher program has been one of the most established in the nation, and removing the income cap represents a major expansion.

This joins a growing wave of states (Texas, Tennessee, Idaho, and others) that have adopted or expanded universal school choice programs in 2025-2026.

RESOLUTE Citizen Analysis

Universal school choice empowers all families -- not just the wealthy -- to choose the best educational environment for their children, including faith-based schools that integrate biblical values.

"And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house."

— Deuteronomy 6:7 (KJV)
